Editors believe that only three per cent of articles contributed by PR and marketing professionals are "well written", according to a survey carried out for New Venture Publishing. The survey of 75 editors and senior journalists from a wide range of newspapers and magazines found they receive, on average, 22 contributed articles a week, but only a tiny number are ever used. New Venture Training has launched its Writing for Publication Masterclass in order to help PR professionals write the kind of articles that editors will want to publish.
